Teamlead Warehouse fixed shifts
Function
As Teamlead Warehouse shifts Asse region, you will work in a challenging logistics environment and take charge of the warehouse team. You will be responsible for optimally managing resources and ensuring quality standards in our production environment.
- You coach your team by providing support, guidance, motivation, feedback and competence development.
- You give clear guidelines and monitor productivity.
- You will organise proper welcome and training for new employees, temporary workers and students.
- You manage presences and distribute tasks based on workload, priorities and leave requests.
- You make decisions to solve problems and communicate these with colleagues and management.
- You ensure the optimal running of the logistics process by adjusting machines, performing maintenance work and managing breakdowns.
- You will liaise with interim offices and monitor performance of temporary workers.
- You ensure the quality of our logistics processes and prepare reports.
- You oversee compliance with safety standards, HR guidelines and quality procedures.
Profile
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- Initial experience in people management, preferably in a logistics or operational work environment.
- Exceptional coaching skills and the ability to guide and motivate people.
- A logical mind, even under stressful conditions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical insight and decision-making skills.
- Affinity with IT systems, such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
In addition, you are:
- Bilingual Dutch and French, or willing to undergo language training.
- Flexible and strong in organisational skills.
- A team player with leadership talent and assertiveness.
- Independent and capable of taking initiatives and decisions.
