Team leader warehouse (2 shifts)

Function

At the company in Asse, they are looking for an energetic and results-oriented Warehouse manager (2 shifts).

As team leader, you perform a crucial role within logistics operations, where you are responsible for managing an operational team. You ensure efficient organisation of daily activities within the warehouse and monitor quality, productivity and safety.

• Coaching, mentoring and inspiring employees to achieve optimal performance.
• Providing clear work instructions, monitoring performance, and optimising productivity.
• Supporting onboarding and training for new employees and temporary staff.
• Managing staffing, absences and work distribution.
• Resolving operational challenges and coordinating with colleagues and managers.
• Monitoring logistics processes and ensuring smooth operation of installations.
• Coordinating workforce planning with internal and external partners.
• Preparing detailed reports and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and HR guidelines.
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of operational efficiency.

Profile

• Previous experience in a managerial position within a warehouse/logistics setting.
• Excellent coaching and motivational leadership style.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with a logical and solution-oriented nature.
• Stress resistance and ability to maintain overview under pressure.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Flexible and proactive attitude, with a team-oriented attitude.
• Experience with ERP systems and good knowledge of common software applications.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of a second national language is a plus.
• You can work on a rotating schedule:
  • Week 1: 07h00 - 15h00
  • Week 2: 2.30pm - 10.30pm (Fridays until 10pm)
