Distribution Planning Team Lead
Function
As Distribution Team Coach, you will be responsible for organising and managing day-to-day operations within the Distribution department. Together with your team, which consists of 28 drivers and 5 dispatch staff, you ensure that medicines and other pharmaceutical products are delivered smoothly to our customers – the pharmacies – up to three times a day.
- You are responsible for drawing up an error-free schedule and for supervising and coaching both the drivers and the office staff in the Distribution department to support them in carrying out their duties.
- You will be responsible for the administrative management of your team, for example by checking daily reports, recording mileage and ensuring the fleet is kept clean.
- Quality is your top priority: you check that procedures are being followed, ensure order and tidiness on the shop floor, and implement the requirements arising from internal and external quality audits.
- Every day, you focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- You keep a close eye on KPIs and take targeted steps to achieve your goals.
- You will investigate potential improvements and implement them, such as restructuring routes.
You will report directly to the Teamleader Distribution.

Profile
- You have experience as a people manager and place great importance on coaching and leading by setting a good example yourself.
- You work in a structured, meticulous and practical manner, with an eye for safety, and are able to prioritise and make decisions with ease.
- You have an analytical approach and are results-oriented. Experience with PowerBI is an advantage.
- You have good communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset. Are there areas for improvement? If so, we’d love to hear your ideas.
- You have a healthy dose of entrepreneurial spirit and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Do you have a solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel? If so, you might just be the person we’re looking for!
