Administrative Project Manager

Function

As Administrative Project Manager, you work accurately and solution-oriented.

You possess the gift of maintaining a good overview of construction processes and think along in solutions where others see obstacles.

You have a clear construction background and can draw on relevant experience within the industry.

Candidates with previous experience as a project manager or in a similar role looking for a support role earlier today will certainly be considered.

You are also flexible and willing to travel to different project sites, where you actively support the team on site (Site Manager, Project Manager and Work Planner) with project planning.

Your profile at a glance:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering with initial work experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong construction knowledge.
  • Experience within the construction industry is a must.
  • Accurate, analytical and strongly solution-oriented.
  • Fluent in reading and applying plans and specifications.
  • Independent, communicative and strongly team-oriented.
  • Creative in finding practical solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, with strong focus on Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, with basic knowledge of French an asset.
  • Experience with MS Project is a plus.
  • Flexible in movements within different sites and teams.

Profile

As Administrative Project Manager or Planner, you will be the driving force behind the organisation and coordination of complex construction projects.

You monitor the overview of planning, resources and execution and ensure that projects run efficiently and according to plan.

You will work on a wide range of challenging projects across Belgium from residential to non-residential, healthcare, retail, renovation and civil engineering.

Reporting directly to the Head of Planning, you will play a key role in aligning project phases and supporting site teams to deliver projects successfully and on schedule.

Preparation:

In the preparation and tendering phase, you will be responsible for the study drafting and planning for the entire project process.

Implementation:

During execution, you will be present on average 1 day per month per site or project.

Establish master planning and define the process.

Development of detailed implementation plans.

Preparation of preparatory planning, financial planning and manpower curves.

Simulating the impact of changes, delays or optimisations.

Handling claims and technical challenges.

Exchange critical information and coordination within the project team.

Track KPIs, report in project meetings and ensure cross-cutting communication.

After implementation

Collect and list project history.

Recording lessons learned and project comments.

Evaluate the impact of delays or changes and assist in their analysis.
