Surveying Project Manager
Function
Your duties will include:
- Coordinating and carrying out surveying projects.
- Managing and supporting the team.
- Preparing, monitoring and checking files.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and colleagues.
- Actively contributing ideas on innovative measurement methods and the optimisation of work processes.
- Focusing on improving efficiency within the organisation.
- Be flexible and step in where needed to support the team.
- A varied mix of office work (80%) and site visits (20%) for project supervision.
Profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have three to five years’ relevant experience and a strong interest in surveying, civil engineering or construction. The following skills and qualities are also important:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A sense of responsibility and an eye for detail.
- A hands-on and proactive approach.
- Knowledge of and experience with measuring equipment would be an advantage.
- Willingness to spend 80–90% of working hours on administrative and office tasks, with occasional site visits.
- Flexibility to travel for up to 45–60 minutes, with the option to work from home.
