Supply chain planner

Function

As a supply chain planner, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Initiate and manage orders between the various internal sites via an ERP package;
• Arranging and monitoring transports using a planning platform;
• Follow up the entire process of your orders, from entry to delivery;
• Timely identification of shortages and solution-oriented response with an eye on cost and service;
• Ensuring that specific commodities get to the right place in time;
• You take on a flexible role within the team to ensure continuity.

Profile

As a future supply chain planner, you recognise yourself in the following:

• You have bachelor's or master's degree in a logistics-oriented field or experience in a similar position;
• You communicate fluently in three languages: Dutch, French and English;
• You can handle pressure well and like to take a practical approach to things;
• You like to work together, take initiative and feel responsible for your work.

Our client is a medium-sized company based in West Flanders, it is active in the design and production of metal structures for storage applications. The organisation mainly serves professional customers and specialises in warehouse design solutions. With a modest team of several dozen employees, the company provides both standard and customised solutions.
