Supply chain manager

Function

As supply chain manager you are responsible for the following operational tasks:

• You manage a team of approximately 10 people (internal sales and planning);
• You approve leave, conduct annual appraisal meetings and resolve issues within the team;
• The logistics manager reports directly to you – this person manages the logistics branch;
• You oversee raw material supply, stock levels and import logistics to prevent shortages;
• You analyse the goods flows and optimise the processes within the complete order-to-delivery chain;
• You monitor the production planning and capacity utilisation and anticipate potential bottlenecks.
• In difficult cases at internal sales you support the team operationally;
• You track KPIs and report them to management at the weekly management meeting;

It is important to know that this is an operational role and not a strategic one.

Profile

Are you the supply chain manager what we are looking for?

• You have 5+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, logistics in a production environment;
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English – knowledge of French is a bonus;
• You have experience managing white-collar staff and preferably also blue-collar workers;
• You are hands-on, ambitious and raise the level of the team;
• You have a no-nonsense mentality and stand your ground when necessary.
