Site Manager, Building Services
Function
- You will be responsible for the full management, optimisation and completion of your assigned projects.
- You will take charge of day-to-day management on site and be responsible for organisation, coordination and supervision.
- You will oversee the planning, quality and progress of the work.
- You will ensure that the various tasks and parties involved are properly co-ordinated.
- You are the point of contact on site for all parties involved.
- You will liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and other partners.
- You will closely monitor the implementation, both from a technical and organisational perspective.
- You anticipate potential problems and take corrective action where necessary.
- You will work closely with internal departments such as cost estimation, procurement and logistics.
- You will ensure smooth communication between the site and the internal organisation.
- You will monitor the agreements made and ensure that the work is carried out efficiently.
- You will be given a great deal of independence and autonomy in carrying out your assignment.
- You will contribute to the successful delivery of technically challenging projects.
Profile
- Ideally, you will hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, such as electromechanics, electrical engineering or electronics.
- Experience in the construction or building services engineering sector is a major asset.
- You have a sound technical grounding and possess strong analytical skills.
- You have excellent communication skills and can switch easily between different people you’re talking to.
- You are sociable, enterprising and take the initiative easily.
- You have strong organisational skills and can keep track of everything, even when several things are happening at once.
- You work proactively and anticipate potential problems.
- You are flexible and don’t mind travelling regularly to different building sites and project locations.
- You are able to work independently and are not afraid to take responsibility.
- You are a true team player and enjoy working alongside colleagues on site as well as with internal departments.
- You have a hands-on approach and aren’t afraid to take the lead when the situation calls for it.
