Site Manager
Function
- As Site Manager, you ensure that a foundation project in Sint-Truiden runs safely, efficiently and according to schedule. You maintain an overview of the site and see how your decisions directly contribute to a strong end result.
- The day-to-day site organisation comes together with you: from planning staff, machinery and materials to monitoring the various execution phases.
- You liaise with site management, subcontractors, suppliers and other parties involved. By communicating clearly, you prevent misunderstandings and keep everyone moving forward.
- On site, you monitor the quality, safety and progress of the foundation works. You identify deviations in a timely manner and work together with the right people to find a practical solution.
- You translate technical plans, work instructions and project information into a clear approach for the team. This ensures everyone knows what needs to be done and why.
- You monitor the project administration, record progress and report key points of attention to the project manager.
- The role combines fieldwork with consultation and preparation. You are involved in projects across various sectors such as residential construction, industry, energy and infrastructure.
Profile
- A recently obtained degree in construction, civil engineering, engineering or a comparable technical field provides a solid foundation. Experience is welcome, but not a requirement: motivation to learn quickly carries significant weight.
- You have an interest in foundation techniques and site organisation and are willing to further develop technical knowledge in practice.
- For this Site Manager role, you communicate fluently in Dutch and French, so that you can liaise safely and clearly with colleagues, partners and site staff.
- You work accurately, remain calm when the planning changes and are not afraid to make decisions when the site requires it. That combination helps you maintain an overview without missing details.
- A driving licence and willingness to travel to sites are practically important for this role. You will be given the space to take on more responsibility step by step.
