Service Engineer, East Flanders
Function
As a Medical Equipment Service Engineer, you will be joining a market leader in the sector.
- In this varied role, you will mainly carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and resolve faults on anaesthesia machines, ventilators, incubators, operating theatre lights, etc., which are primarily used in operating theatres and intensive care units, across the East Flanders region.
- You are the customer’s first point of contact for technical enquiries. You provide customers with information about parts and user guidelines, and answer questions from technical and medical staff.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your work is properly documented and for managing your own stock of materials independently.
- You’ll usually be working independently on site, but you’ll never be on your own. You’ll be part of an experienced team you can always count on for support. The service team also works closely with the Sales and Marketing departments.
- You will report directly to the Service Manager.
Profile
To start work as a Service Engineer, we are looking for candidates who meet the following profile:

- You enjoy consulting with colleagues and clients, think in terms of solutions and take the initiative to see things through to a successful conclusion.
- You are fluent in both national languages and also have a good basic knowledge of English.
- You work meticulously and in a structured manner. Thanks to your organised approach, reporting, administration and stock management are always accurate and up to date.
- You are technically and organisationally strong, eager to learn, solution-oriented and have a positive work attitude.
