Senior Quantity Surveyor

Function

As an experienced quantity surveyor, you are the go-to expert for producing competitive and accurate cost estimates within the construction sector. Based at our office in Genk, Limburg, you will play a key role in high-profile projects. You will use your analytical skills to calculate material usage, labour hours and site scheduling. You effortlessly analyse complex documents such as plans, specifications and tender documents, and know how to translate these into technically sound and commercially attractive tenders.

Where necessary, you’ll visit construction sites to gain a clear picture of the condition of the roof and the surrounding area, so that you can get to work with the right information. You’ll also support less experienced estimators by coaching them and improving processes. Together with our commercial and operational teams, you’ll ensure a smooth handover of projects. Thanks to your expertise and initiative, you can make a real impact on impressive construction projects. Interested? Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional who fits the profile below:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a construction-related field, or you have equivalent experience gained through practical work.
• You have extensive experience as a quantity surveyor in the construction sector and know the entire project costing process like the back of your hand.
• Thanks to your excellent command of Dutch and French, communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams throughout Belgium runs smoothly and professionally.
• You are comfortable using IT systems and feel at home with digital applications.
• You work with precision, think analytically, are results-oriented, and always dot the i’s and cross the t’s.
