Sales Engineer
Function
- You offer your expertise in selling laboratory test equipment, including for sunlight simulation, natural weathering, climate simulation, corrosion and transport simulation.
- You will be responsible for the existing customer portfolio and for growing the customer base through active prospecting.
- Your target audience: the industrial sector, where you will mainly conduct interviews with production and laboratory managers.
- Your working area: Deerlijk, but mainly the rest of the Benelux countries. Overnight stays abroad may occur (2 to 3 nights per month).
- You plan your own appointments and calendar.
- You closely follow market trends in the sector and know how to respond to them.
- You will think along at the strategic level of the company and report to the Sales Manager.
Profile
Who are we looking for? A Sales Engineer with a passion for engineering and sales.
- You have a master's degree in a scientific field.
- Experience in sales. A commercial DNA is a must!
- You combine analytical and logical thinking with technical knowledge.
- You are independent, take initiative and at the same time enjoy working as part of a team.
- Languages. Perfectly Dutch and French, with a solid portion of English in your repertoire.
- Your digital toolkit includes Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and preferably some ERP knowledge (such as Dynamics365 Business Central).
- You have a B driving licence and no fear of being on the road.
Organisation
Our client is a supplier of laboratory testing equipment. They offer a wide range of equipment for material analysis, climate simulation, weathering tests and transport tests, and support this with installation, maintenance and ISO-accredited calibrations thanks to a specialised service department. In addition, they have a own product line for various testing applications.
