Roadworks project manager

Function

• As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you take day-to-day charge of infrastructure projects from preparation to handover, with attention to planning, quality, safety, and profitability.
• You translate contractual agreements, technical plans, and client expectations into a clear project approach and monitor progress on site.
• In Puurs-Sint-Amands and at other project locations in Belgium, you coordinate activities with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, designers, and clients.
• A realistic planning, accurate budget monitoring, and timely corrective action help you to keep projects manageable and efficient.
• You identify risks and bottlenecks early, seek feasible solutions, and ensure that decisions are clearly recorded and followed up.
• Through your clear communication, you create collaboration between different disciplines and keep all stakeholders focused on a quality delivery.
• You work within a broad construction and infrastructure environment with specialised departments, diverse projects, and room to further develop your role as project manager.

Profile

• You have completed a technical degree, for example in civil engineering, infrastructure, or a related field, and have already gained 3 to 5 years of experience in project management or project coordination.
• Experience with infrastructure works, planning, budget monitoring, contract follow-up, or site organisation helps you to take on responsibility quickly.
• You work in a structured manner, maintain oversight when multiple parties expect actions simultaneously, and translate agreements into concrete follow-up.
• You communicate clearly and respectfully with both technical and non-technical counterparts; this is essential to safeguard collaboration, safety, and progress on site.
• A solution-oriented and professional attitude, combined with a sense of responsibility and an interest in quality and sustainability, forms the basis for making an impact as a project manager or project lead.
