Roadworks project manager
Function
As Infrastructure project manager you will take the lead on challenging projects within roadworks, drainage works, bridge construction and other complex infrastructure realisations.
You will be responsible for the entire process: from preparation and planning to execution and delivery.
In doing so, you ensure efficient deployment of resources, accurate budget monitoring and flawless execution according to quality and safety standards.
Your tasks includes:
- Developing and directing projects by making best use of people and resources.
- Monitoring budgets and deadlines, ensuring projects are completed within the set objectives.
- Monitoring execution deadlines and site progress, with timely adjustments where necessary.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures, quality standards and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholders.
- Making clear agreements with all parties involved and ensuring proper compliance.
- Collaborate with internal services such as purchasing, estimating, dispatching and central support.
- Motivating colleagues and promoting constructive cooperation within the project team.
Profile
For this vacancy in Puurs, we are looking for an experienced and driven project manager for our client who enjoys taking responsibility and combines technical expertise with strong communication skills.
We are therefore looking for someone who possesses:
- A degree in industrial engineering or equivalent through relevant experience.
- Previous experience within infrastructure works and a proven track record as a project leader.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude and the drive to deliver projects within time, scope and budget.
- Commercial feel and ability to build constructive relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch, complemented by a good command of English; knowledge of French is an asset.
