Project Manager Road Works
Function
- As a Project Manager Road Works, you take ultimate responsibility for the preparation and execution of multiple road and sewerage sites in Flanders. You oversee coherence, progress and results throughout the full project lifecycle.
- The day-to-day coordination of multiple sites makes you the central point of contact for project leaders, contractors, study departments, clients, design offices and other partners.
- Through careful planning, you adjust capacity, resources and priorities to ensure that work proceeds efficiently and disruption to the surrounding area is kept to a minimum.
- Budget monitoring, cost price control, additional works and financial reporting are part of your responsibility. You use project data and risk analyses to make timely adjustments and well-founded decisions.
- Through clear agreements, coaching and regular follow-up, you strengthen the functioning of project leaders and execution teams. In doing so, you build a project culture in which safety, quality, collaboration and customer focus are visibly reflected in practice.
- Throughout each project, you monitor planning, quality, safety and contractual obligations. You report clearly to management and board levels and make complex information accessible to all those involved.
Profile
- Approximately 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, road construction or sewerage projects is a must for our client. Experience in managing multiple sites or complex sub-projects is important in order to make an impact quickly.
- You combine project management with financial insight: monitoring budgets, analysing cost prices, assessing additional works and reporting are part of your familiar territory.
- As a people manager, you provide direction, offer support and make expectations clear. This approach helps project leaders and execution teams to take ownership and continue to develop.
- You communicate fluently with internal departments, clients, authorities, design offices and external partners. Decisiveness, willingness to listen and organisational precision are essential to connect interests and maintain progress.
- You communicate professionally in Dutch; knowledge of French supports contacts in a broader project environment.

The organisation specialises in road construction, sewerage, environmental remediation and the construction of public spaces.
