Project manager road construction

Function

• You will take ultimate responsibility for large and complex road construction sites, supported by specialised site managers and foremen.
• Both coordinating multiple projects and managing site supervisors are within your remit.
• You will follow up and monitor the daily progress and staffing on the sites.
• The tasks also include preparing and analysing requisition statements, as well as making the necessary adjustments.
• Quality and safety never lose your focus; you make sure that everything is done according to current standards.
• Material management and control of deliveries are essential elements of which you keep track.
• You are financially responsible for your yards and optimise where possible.
• You will report directly to the head of the road construction department.

Profile

• In possession of a bachelor's or master's degree in structural engineering or land surveying.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in road construction, e.g. as a project manager or site manager.
• Flexibility in working hours and travel is one of your strengths.
• Broad feel for structure and organisation and you get energy from managing teams.
• Collaborating with colleagues combines effortlessly with working independently.
• Safety, durability and quality are your top priorities.
• Possesses strong communication skills in Dutch.
