Concrete Project Manager
Function
- As Project Manager Concrete, you organise and oversee the daily operations on site, in close consultation with the internal project manager. You monitor progress, quality and the practical feasibility of the works.
- The preparation and execution of concrete and infrastructure works take shape under your coordination. You direct foremen, workers and subcontractors in a clear and constructive manner.
- You plan the necessary people, materials and resources to keep the site running efficiently and ensure that agreements with the client are met.
- From orders to deliveries: you manage materials carefully, monitor consumption and prevent delays in execution caused by missing or late resources.
- Accurate site administration forms an important part of your role. You keep registrations, progress records, documents and practical follow-up well organised.
- You maintain professional contact with the client, the design office, subcontractors and other parties involved. Through clear communication, you align expectations and help minimise disruption during the works.
- With your technical knowledge and familiarity with the Standard Specification 250, you contribute to correct execution, strong collaboration and a quality end result.
Profile
- A qualification in construction provides a solid foundation; equivalent experience in concrete, road construction or infrastructure works is also considered.
- You bring experience as a site manager, project manager or in a similar coordinating role. This allows you to tackle technical and organisational challenges on site independently.
- A good knowledge of Dutch and French helps you to communicate smoothly with colleagues, construction partners and other parties on and around the site.
- Organising, prioritising and maintaining an overview are important qualities, as various tasks, deliveries and parties involved must be monitored simultaneously.
- You communicate clearly, motivate people in a respectful manner and take responsibility for commitments. In addition, you work proficiently with MS Office; knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
