Regional Manager Service & Maintenance Building Technologies
Function
- As Regional Manager Service & Maintenance Building Technologies you take on responsibility for the operations, results and profitability of the West region, with Bruges as the primary base and activities in Bruges and Ghent.
- You combine regional leadership with hands-on involvement in service and maintenance contracts for electricity, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration and related building technologies.
- The technical, administrative and financial follow-up of contracts rests with you. You monitor planning, capacity, quality, budget and profitability, so that clients can rely on a dependable service.
- Technicians, project staff and subcontractors can count on clear priorities, support and decision-making. You stay close to the shop floor and strengthen collaboration between the teams in Bruges and Ghent.
- For clients in sectors including retail, offices, schools, industry and public buildings, you ensure professional follow-up of maintenance, interventions, breakdowns and improvement actions.
- You personally maintain important client relationships. You understand their technical and operational challenges, identify opportunities for additional services and help the regional activities grow in a targeted way.
- With an eye on the continuity of both operations, you gradually take over regional responsibility. You work independently within short lines of communication and coordinate with other technical teams within the organisation.
Profile
- At least 10 years of relevant experience within building technologies, including extensive experience in service and maintenance. You are familiar with the reality of maintenance contracts, interventions, breakdowns and client-focused follow-up.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as electrical engineering, electromechanics or energy technology, provides a strong foundation for this role.
- You have experience as a regional manager, service manager, project leader or project manager and are ready to take on broader regional responsibility.
- A broad technical foundation is important: you have strong knowledge of electricity and sufficient insight into HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration and other building technologies to effectively support teams and clients.
- You combine financial and commercial insight with overview, decisiveness and entrepreneurship. Through your calm, approachable leadership style, you bring people along, strengthen collaboration and build lasting client relationships.
Organisation
Our client is responsible for all technical installations — from design&build/renovate to maintenance, monitoring and optimisation of large buildings. Through targeted interventions or a fully tailored approach, we support companies in sustainability and energy efficiency to accelerate their energy transition.
