Quality Coordinator

Location: Neder-over-heembeek, Brussels, Belgium Specialisation: Construct Engineering Salary: € 3.500 - € 5.500 gross / month Contracttype: Indefinite time Hours: 40 hrs/week Work ritme: Day

Function

How do you make quality policy workable on the construction site?

  • As Quality Coordinator, you monitor the quality of civil construction and infrastructure works, with the aim of making agreements, standards and technical requirements visible and workable on the construction site.
  • You carry out quality checks at various construction sites in Flanders: you conduct walkthroughs, complete checklists and collect inspection forms that support reliable monitoring of the works.
  • You prepare and carry out internal audits at project teams, on construction sites and within supporting departments in the context of ISO 9001 and technical processes.
  • You centralise knowledge about core processes and manage the knowledge database, so that teams have easy access to up-to-date information, guidelines and practical working methods.
  • You analyse changes in standards, technical guidelines and recommendations and translate them into clear points of attention, actions or adjustments within the management system.
  • Following audits, non-conformities, reports and improvement proposals, you monitor corrective and corrective actions. You ensure that solutions are not only implemented, but also sustainably embedded in the working practices.
  • As a quality coordinator, you advise project and site teams on quality methodologies, deliveries and the commissioning of construction sites. You bring structure, share knowledge and help colleagues to apply improvements independently.

Profile

Can you work independently within a large project environment and are you confident enough to help drive improvements?

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, supplemented by approximately 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality coordination, infrastructure works or a comparable project environment.
  • You have insight into quality management, audit processes and technical procedures; knowledge of ISO 9001 is relevant for setting up checks and improvement actions in a targeted manner.
  • Thanks to your organisational skills, you maintain an overview of multiple construction sites, files, actions and deadlines. Accuracy and punctuality are important for correct reporting.
  • You work independently, take responsibility for your assignments and are not afraid to raise points for improvement in a constructive manner. This combination helps to create support amongst experienced project and site teams.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch with internal and external stakeholders and are willing to travel to various construction sites in Flanders. Your reliability, listening skills and practical mindset make you a valued conversation partner.
