Property Developer – Brussels
Function
How do you turn an idea into a feasible development?
And what role do you play from the first opportunity to a successful launch?
- As a Project Developer, you take responsibility for the entire development trajectory: from the first opportunity and feasibility analysis through to launch and sale.
- You identify new opportunities in the public and private market and develop a well-founded business case around land positions, real estate projects and collaboration opportunities.
- Feasibility studies, financial analyses, risk assessments and action plans are translated into clear recommendations for internal and external decision-making.
- You contribute to competition files, bids and negotiations, safeguarding both development quality and commercial feasibility.
- From the initial concept phase, you align with architects, designers, construction specialists and colleagues from the execution team, so that ideas grow into realisable projects.
- You proactively monitor the progress of your files, flag bottlenecks in a timely manner and bring the parties involved together to reach workable solutions.
- Together with marketing and sales, you prepare the positioning, launch and sale of projects, with attention to the added value for residents, users and the surrounding area.
- As a real estate developer, you maintain sustainable relationships with authorities, landowners, investors, designers and other partners. You represent the organisation professionally at consultations, events and seminars.
Profile
Are you a developer who thinks ahead?
- With a master's degree in a relevant field of study, such as real estate, civil engineering, architecture, economics or law, you have a strong foundation for this role.
- You have five to ten years of experience in project development or a comparable real estate environment, ideally complemented by a thorough knowledge of the Brussels market.
- Analysing and structuring complex information and translating those insights into a clear decision or realistic plan are skills in which you excel.
- You express yourself professionally in Dutch and collaborate smoothly within a French-speaking context. In doing so, you build strong relationships with a variety of public and private partners.
- Thanks to your entrepreneurial, results-driven approach, you seize opportunities independently. At the same time, your listening skills, connecting approach and clear communication make it possible to bring others along with your proposals.
