Project Manager Restoration & Renovation
Function
Tasks:
- You take charge of various construction projects from preparation to delivery, with the emphasis on renovation and restoration of roofs and cladding for public contracts.
- You maintain the overview and ensure that planning, quality, safety and progress remain aligned.
- As the central point of contact, you maintain contact with clients, architects, suppliers, subcontractors and other construction partners.
- On site, you organise the daily execution, manage your own staff and subcontractors and carry out regular checks.
- You participate in site meetings and translate agreements into concrete actions.
- Orders, deliveries and subcontractors are coordinated by you.
- You monitor progress statements, revision formulas and lost working days, so that the administrative and financial side also remains correct.
- You discuss reports on progress, risks and bottlenecks with the managing director and the head of execution.
Profile
Who are you?
- A technical background is important, preferably with a qualification in construction engineering. A master's degree in construction engineering or an engineering degree is an advantage, but not essential.
- You bring approximately three to five years of experience as a project manager, ideally within restoration, renovation, roofing and/or cladding.
- Planning tools, budgets, progress statements and the monitoring of project progress are familiar to you.
- Numerical insight and a precise approach give you a firm grip on both the site and the file.
- Communicating with clients, architects, suppliers, subcontractors and employees comes naturally to you.
- You communicate clearly, listen actively and make agreements concrete, because strong collaborations directly contribute to a quality delivery.
- Independence, a sense of responsibility and solution-oriented thinking characterise your working style.
- You can set priorities, switch when the planning changes and always keep safety in sight.
Organisation
As a project manager, you will be working for a company that specialises in renovation and restoration of roofing and cladding, specifically for public contracts.
In its 20 years of existence, our client has built up a fine name and customer portfolio.
You will join a pleasant team of project managers, where open and honest communication prevails. The managing director's door is always open and you can go to him with any questions.
More important than ever is the work-life balance that is central to our client.
A drink with colleagues on Friday to close the week, a BBQ in summer or a dinner every few months are no exception at our client.
Offer
Offer:
- A permanent contract of indefinite duration, with the additional possibility of collaborating as a freelancer.
- An attractive and market-conform salary package, tailored to your experience, technical knowledge and responsibilities.
- A company car with fuel and charging card, so that you can travel comfortably to sites in Flanders and occasionally Wallonia.
- 32 holiday days, supplemented by seniority leave, so that alongside the projects there remains room for leisure time.
- Group insurance, disability insurance, end-of-year bonus and meal vouchers.
- A laptop, mobile phone and subscription for smooth follow-up in the office, on the road and on site.
- A great deal of autonomy in organising your diary and travel, with a combination of site monitoring and office presence.
- An environment in which you can continue to grow through additional responsibility and knowledge development.
- A collegial atmosphere with regular informal moments, such as a Friday drink, a barbecue or a team dinner. No obligatory show, just colleagues who also know how to find each other outside the site.
