Project Manager
Function
- As a Construction Project Manager, you take on the central coordination of residential construction projects, from preparation and structural works through to finishing and handover.
- The planning, organisation and day-to-day follow-up of multiple projects in the Antwerp and Noorderkempen region are your responsibility, with a focus on timing, budget and quality.
- You serve as the primary point of contact for clients, site foremen, subcontractors, architects, engineers and internal colleagues. Through clear communication, you keep all parties aligned.
- In consultation with the in-house construction teams and subcontractors, you oversee execution on site and make adjustments when circumstances, planning or technical choices require it.
- Sending out requests for quotation, assessing tenders and appointing suitable subcontractors are part of your remit. In doing so, you help keep every project financially and operationally manageable.
- You closely monitor quality and craftsmanship on site and ensure that safety agreements, execution details and client commitments are adhered to.
- Thanks to your overview and problem-solving approach, you support smooth collaboration between execution, administration and the internal BIM operations, resulting in a meticulous handover.
Profile
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a construction-related field forms the basis for this role. An equivalent combination of relevant experience and technical knowledge may also be considered.
- You preferably bring 3 to 5 years of experience in construction coordination, site supervision or as a Construction Project Manager. Experience with residential projects, renovations or utility construction is a strong asset.
- Technical insight, organisational ability and attention to detail help you to monitor quality, planning, budget and safety simultaneously.
- You communicate clearly with clients, tradespeople and professional partners. This connecting style is important for aligning expectations correctly and ensuring smooth collaboration on site.
- A calm, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to prioritise ensure that you maintain an overview even when changes or unexpected situations arise.
- To increase your chances of success, an affinity with structural works is a very important factor. Ideally supported by demonstrable experience.
