Project Manager for Large-Scale Energy Projects

Function

• Responsible for the overall project management of large-scale energy projects.
• Managing and monitoring contractual agreements throughout the entire project.
• Drawing up, monitoring and managing project budgets, with ultimate financial responsibility.
• Drawing up detailed project plans and ensuring they are implemented on time.
• Coordinating teams, materials, suppliers and subcontractors from design through to handover.
• Aligning responsibilities and fostering cooperation between all parties involved.
• Identifying and managing project risks and making timely adjustments where necessary.
• Leading, coaching and motivating multidisciplinary project teams.
• Act as a point of contact for customers, internal departments and external partners.
• Monitoring technical quality, regulatory compliance, safety and project standards.
• Carrying out site and project visits.
• Drafting progress reports and managing project documentation.

Profile

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline or project management.
• You have several years’ experience as a Project Manager in a technical or industrial environment.
• Experience with large-scale energy or infrastructure projects is a major asset.
• You have a strong technical understanding and an analytical mindset.
• You are familiar with budget management and the financial monitoring of projects.
• You hold a VCA VOL certificate or are willing to obtain one.
• You have strong organisational skills and are able to keep track of everything, even on complex projects.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
• You work independently, take the initiative and are solution-oriented.
• You are an inspiring leader who knows how to motivate and bring people together.
