Function
What does your role as a transport manager in the Bruges region involve?
- The KPIs and transport performance monitor and make adjustments where necessary
- Standing in for the staff planning and managing your own teams (around 12 people)
- Contribute to the strategic planning and the deployment of available resources
- Helping to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly
- Ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with the applicable safety and food safety standards
- Keep the transport manager informed via clear reporting and analysis
- Working with various internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve transport efficiency

You are a a people manager through and through and draws energy from leading a team. At the same time, you never lose sight of the operational reality and the figures.
In addition:
- Do you have a analytical and structured approach
- Can you do it easily? set priorities, even when the schedule comes under pressure
- Do you have strong communication skills and are you able to get various stakeholders on board?
- Do you speak fluently? Dutch, French and English
- Do you have a keen interest in transport, planning and logistics
- Do you enjoy taking on responsibility and contributing ideas on how to make processes more efficient?
