Function

What does your role as logistics manager involve?

• You coordinate daily logistics activities and manage employees.
• You optimise transport, warehouse management and stock processes.
• You monitor the operation of logistics installations and contribute to structural solutions when issues arise.
• You safeguard the quality, safety and efficiency of logistics processes.
• You monitor KPIs, reporting and administrative tasks.
• You work closely with production, sales and the technical department to continuously improve logistics operations.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for a decisive and communicative leader who maintains oversight, sets priorities and knows how to bring people along through change.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following profile:

• You hold a bachelor's degree or are considered equivalent through relevant experience.
• You have experience in a management role and feel comfortable directing and coaching employees.
• Experience in logistics, transport or an industrial environment is an asset, but not an absolute requirement.
• You have a strong interest in logistics processes, technical installations and automation.
• You think analytically, have a problem-solving mindset and actively seek out structural improvements.
• You are highly organised and able to set the right priorities, even when multiple matters require attention simultaneously.
• You take responsibility, work proactively and are happy to roll up your sleeves when the situation calls for it.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
