Counter Clerk Transport

Function

As loketbediende transport You’ll be part of the transport team. You’ll be the first point of contact for drivers when they return from their journeys and will ensure that all documents accurate and complete be processed.

Your range of tasks:

• You check the driver’s documents op volledigheid en juistheid.
• Among other things, you will check the pallettenruil en temperatuurregistratie.
• Je koppelt eventuele afwijkingen terug naar de verantwoordelijke van de eigen chauffeurs en de transportmanagers van onderaannemers.
• You’re often the the first person the driver sees on arrival en zorgt voor een vlotte ontvangst.
• You help drivers to record their journeys correctly pallettenruil en temperaturen.
• You build a good relationship with drivers and quickly realise when there is problems or areas for attention zijn.
• Je controleert steekproefsgewijs de geloste palletten van externe chauffeurs op de laadkaaien.
• You will be responsible for the administrative processing van documenten van onderaannemers en stockageklanten.

Profile

We are looking for someone who administratively strong is, graag met mensen werkt en ook op drukke momenten het overzicht bewaart.

Do you recognise yourself in the points below?

• Je hebt een eerste administratieve ervaring, liefst binnen logistiek of een operationele omgeving.
• You work accurate, structured en kunt goed priorities stellen.
• You get on well with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• You speak fluently Dutch and have a good basic knowledge of French and English. Een Oost-Europese taal is a plus.
• You are social, empathisch and toegankelijk. Chauffeurs voelen zich gemakkelijk bij jou.
• You stand stevig in je schoenen en blijft quiet wanneer het wat drukker wordt.
• You work in a 2-ploegenstelsel: de ene week van 06.00 tot 14.00 uur, de andere week van 14.00 tot 22.00 uur.

Ervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar jouw nauwkeurigheid en people skills maken het verschil!

Organisation

Our client is a European specialist in transport and logistics for foodstuffs requiring temperature-controlled conditions. Based in Oostkamp, you’ll work alongside around 300 colleagues to ensure smooth distribution both at home and abroad.
