Project Manager

Function

• As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you take responsibility for infrastructure projects from preparation through to completion. You monitor progress and ensure that agreements with all parties involved are met.
• Planning, work organisation and day-to-day follow-up take shape under your coordination, enabling teams, subcontractors and suppliers to collaborate efficiently.
• You closely monitor budgets, performance, material usage and planning. When circumstances change, you respond in a timely manner and make clear decisions.
• Consultation with clients, design offices, suppliers, subcontractors and internal colleagues forms an important part of your role. You translate technical and practical information into clear agreements.
• Quality, safety and sustainability are given a permanent place in execution. You flag risks on site and ensure that procedures and agreed arrangements are applied.
• By organising site meetings, reporting and administrative follow-up in a clear and structured way, you keep everyone informed of the progress and results of the project.
• You work from Puurs-Sint-Amands and are willing to oversee sites at various locations across Belgium, depending on the projects.

Profile

• A higher education qualification in construction, infrastructure or a comparable technical field provides a solid foundation, supplemented by approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, site coordination or a similar role.
• You understand the technical, organisational and financial aspects of infrastructure works and are able to translate a project into a feasible planning schedule and clear working agreements.
• Clear communication is important: you convey expectations in good time, are not afraid to raise bottlenecks and align differing interests in a constructive way.
• You work in a structured manner and maintain an overview when multiple actions, partners and deadlines converge. Decisiveness helps you to keep making progress on site.
• A practical mind-set, a sense of responsibility and attention to quality make it possible to build trust with colleagues and partners as both a project manager and a point of contact.
