Function

  • As a Project Manager within an established construction group, you work on buildings, infrastructure, civil works, hydraulic engineering projects or other complex realisations. As much consideration as possible is given to your region and expertise.
  • From preparation through to completion, you take charge of the practical organisation and overall execution of your projects. You monitor progress, align priorities and ensure that decisions are made in a timely manner.
  • A site team of site managers and project engineers receives direction thanks to your clear leadership and technical involvement. You create overview and ensure that everyone is working towards the same result.
  • You closely monitor budgets, progress claims, forecasts and financial results. You detect deviations early, enabling you to make targeted adjustments together with the client, management and relevant partners.
  • In consultation with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and internal departments, you handle negotiations and project-related procurement. In doing so, you monitor both the contractual agreements and the feasibility on site.
  • Planning and safety form a consistent guiding principle in your approach. You translate client expectations into a workable planning schedule and ensure that the final result meets the agreed standards.
  • Smooth collaboration with clients, engineering firms, colleagues from internal workshops and execution teams makes all the difference. As a project manager, you connect technical, organisational and commercial interests without losing the overview.
  • You work in a professional construction environment with various specialised entities and disciplines. Regular project meetings bring together colleagues from preparation and execution to share experiences and safety focus points.

Profile

  • A degree in industrial or civil engineering (construction) forms a strong foundation for this role. You also bring approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management or a comparable position within the construction sector.
  • Complex architectural, civil, technical or infrastructure projects appeal to you. You are able to translate technical information into concrete actions whilst simultaneously taking budget, planning, quality and contractual agreements into account.
  • Organisational and financial accuracy are important for managing a project in a controlled manner. You are comfortable with monitoring costs, progress claims, forecasts, planning and collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • You communicate clearly with a diverse range of interlocutors and are not afraid to take positions during meetings or negotiations. This connecting style helps to build trust and keep teams aligned.
  • Perseverance, initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset help you to make progress even in the event of changes or unexpected site situations. You remain calm, look for solutions and take responsibility for the outcome.
