our challenges as project manager
- The organiser: You take charge of challenging projects from A to Z. From the practical organisation to the full execution: you maintain the overview, monitor progress and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You take responsibility and know exactly what is needed to bring your project to a successful conclusion.
- The team leader: A strong project stands or falls with a strong team. You manage site managers and project engineers, motivate them and ensure that everyone takes responsibility. You provide direction, make decisive calls and bring people along in your story.
- The budget guardian: Financially, you are the driving force behind your project. You keep a close eye on the budget, draw up progress statements and financial forecasts, and make adjustments where necessary. You also communicate clearly with the client about the financial status of the project. Numbers and budgets? They give you energy!
- The negotiator: You regularly sit around the table with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. You conduct contract negotiations, discuss project-related purchases and are not afraid to stand up for the interests of your project. You have a feel for where the opportunities lie and always aim to get the best possible outcome.
- The quality guardian: A satisfied client – that's what drives you. You monitor the quality of execution and ensure that the predetermined schedule is met. You set high standards and leave nothing to chance.
- The connector: You are the central link between all parties involved. You maintain smooth contacts with clients, external partners, colleagues and technical experts. You bring people together, align expectations and ensure everyone is moving in the same direction.
