Project Engineer
Function
Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to support foreign departments and be responsible for assigned projects. You will be responsible for working out cost prices, designs and optimal layouts.
Your duties will include:
- Development of warehouse layouts with focus on optimal capacity and cost price, according to product specifications
- Carrying out stability calculations according to applicable standards and guidelines (in cooperation with experienced engineers)
- Composing components and preparing correct quotations including technical descriptions
- Setting priorities in consultation with supervisor to meet deadlines
- Tracking market developments and customer needs
- Technical communication with suppliers (price discussions are via purchasing)
- Supporting sales with technical presentations and project explanations
Profile
Our client is looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. electromechanics, industrial design, ...)
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus
- Stress-resistant, dynamic and a real team player
- Creative and solution-oriented
- Knowledge of stability and strength calculations
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Willing to perform a 100% office function
