Construction Project Coordinator
Function
As a Project Coordinator, you are the driving force on site. You ensure that plans become reality and bring people, materials and processes together to deliver every project to a high standard and efficiently.
Your responsibilities:
- You translate construction plans into a practical and feasible implementation on site.
- You will manage, motivate and coordinate skilled tradespeople and subcontractors working on structural work and finishing works.
- You will oversee the quality, scheduling and progress of the works.
- You actively contribute to a safe and structured working environment.
- You will assist the Project Manager with tenders, orders and site administration.
- You will contribute ideas on the most appropriate working methods and ensure that the work is prepared efficiently.
- You organise the ordering of materials and equipment in good time.
- You will closely monitor day-to-day operations on site and ensure that everyone can work together efficiently.
Profile
As a Project Coordinator, you combine technical knowledge with a strong hands-on approach. You feel at home on site, are keen to take on responsibility and help ensure that projects are completed smoothly and to a high standard.
You recognise yourself in the following characteristics:
- You hold an engineering degree or a bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Ideally, you will already have gained experience working on one or more construction projects.
- You have a strong understanding of architecture and know what it takes to turn plans into reality.
- You’re good at planning, organising and communicating.
- You enjoy working on site and combine a hands-on approach with a commitment to project management.
- You take the initiative, work in a structured way and know how to motivate people on site.
