Production Manager
Function
As Production Manager, you will work closely with the current production supervisor and take joint responsibility for the operational management of production. You will be present on the shop floor every day and ensure that production runs efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
In addition, you will play a key role in the further automation and digitalisation of production. At present, many processes are still carried out manually, and the aim is for you to contribute ideas for improvements and help to implement them.
Your responsibilities:
- Helping to manage day-to-day production and staff on the shop floor.
- Optimising production processes and increasing efficiency.
- Developing and implementing automation and digitalisation projects.
- Monitoring quality, planning, safety and efficiency.
- Identifying areas for improvement and translating these into concrete actions.
- Getting stuck in where necessary. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in when the situation calls for it. Whether it’s a machine that needs regular maintenance, a delivery that needs unloading, or a practical task on the shop floor: you lead by example.
Profile
To take up the role of production manager, we expect you to meet the following requirements.
- You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an electromechanical discipline.
- You have experience working in a production environment, preferably in a managerial or coordinating role.
- You are interested in process optimisation, automation and digitalisation.
- You are a true people manager who knows how to motivate staff and get them on board with change.
- You’re a practical thinker, take the initiative and enjoy being a visible presence on the shop floor.
- You combine organisational skills with a hands-on approach.
