Production Manager
Function
As Production Manager in, you will work in a dynamic production environment where you will coordinate daily workshop management. You are the point of contact between management, brigadiers, welders, metalworkers and technicians. Together with your team, you ensure efficient and high-quality production, where deadlines and safety are always guaranteed.
- Managing, supervising and coaching the workshop team.
- Monitor compliance with quality and safety regulations.
- Coordinating work to meet deadlines.
- Motivate, support and follow up team members.
- Identify problems and risks within the workplace and coordinate necessary actions with management.
- Plan, evaluate and provide technical support.
Profile
For the position of Production Manager, we are looking for an experienced and energetic employee who feels at home in a workshop environment and has an affinity for welding and the metal industry. Your profile:
- Experience in a leadership role within a technical environment.
- A technical degree at bachelor's level is required.
- Strong organisational skills and the courage to take decisions.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Experience in the metal sector and knowledge of welding is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented work attitude.
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
Organisation
Our client is a well-established Belgian company with more than 75 years of experience specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality, custom-made pressure and process equipment for demanding industrial applications. The company works with heat- and corrosion-resistant alloys, making their installations perform reliably in extreme conditions. They are a fixture within various sectors and offer a wide portfolio including heat exchangers, pressure vessels, reactors,... They currently employ around 45 people and to strengthen the team, they are currently looking for a production manager.
