As Production supervisor at Ninove you ensure smooth production and a motivated team. You combine people management with a hands-on approach.

Your tasks:

• Together with a colleague, you manage a team of 50 to 70 employees directly.
• You oversee production planning, quality, efficiency and KPIs.
• You are 80% of your time on the shop floor and you coach, motivate and support your employees.
• You monitor staff planning, absences and appraisal interviews.
• You optimise production processes through LEAN, 5S and continuous improvement.
• You monitor safety and quality and work closely with the technical department.
• You report directly to the Production Manager.

Working hours: Alternating 2-shift system (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00), Monday to Friday. Every weekend off!

Profile

• You have several years of leadership experience within a production environment. Experience in the food sector is an asset, not a requirement.
• You hold a technical or production-oriented qualification, or have equivalent experience.
• You are a strong people manager who knows how to motivate, coach and manage employees.
• You are resilient under pressure, strongly organised and are not afraid to make decisions and delegate responsibilities.
• You have insight into production planning, staffing, efficiency and quality.
• Knowledge of LEAN, 5S, HACCP or automated production lines is an asset.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch. Knowledge of French is an asset.
