Teamlead Production & Transport

Function

As Supervisor Production in Geraardsbergen, you play a crucial role in organising and managing the production and transport department. You act as a linking point between production processes, transport and internal stakeholders. In this dynamic position, you are responsible for leading a team of 40 employees and drivers. With a strong focus on planning, optimisation and a coaching leadership style, you will contribute to achieving operational and strategic goals. You will report directly to the Unit Manager and work closely with various departments.

• Lead the production department to ensure quality and delivery times.
• Organising and coordinating inbound and outbound transport.
• Maintain and analyse transport data, with a view to improvement.
• Maintain appointments and contracts with external partners.
• Daily coaching, motivating and developing the team.
• Monitor KPIs and act on trends to improve processes.

Profile

For this versatile position, we are looking for a driven professional with a mix of leadership skills, operational acumen and communication strength. You know how to prioritise and switch between different challenges. You will bring:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing, with managerial experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with different teams.
• Hands-on mentality and ability to make quick decisions.
• Analytical ability and results-oriented approach.
• Fluent in Dutch, knowledge of French is an added advantage.
