Pricing Officer Air Freight

Function

As an Air Freight Pricing Specialist in Brucargo, you will be part of the commercial support team within an international logistics organisation specialising in transport and supply chain solutions. You will be responsible for preparing and following up quotes for air freight shipments, while analysing customer requests and formulating competitive pricing proposals.

Your duties will include:

• Analysing quotation requests and requesting additional information if required.
• Evaluating various transport solutions and associated costs.
• Requesting rates from international partners and suppliers.
• Preparing and sending quotes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Following up on issued quotations and recording results.
• Actively contributing to quality and commercial services.
• Collaborating with various internal departments to arrive at the best solution for the customer.

A large part of the files involve customised quotes for specific shipments, where accuracy and customer focus are key.

Profile

To be successful in this position as Pricing Officer Air Freight, the company is looking for someone with:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in air cargo logistics or air freight forwarding.
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
• Commercial attitude and a solution-oriented approach.
• A good command of Excel and familiarity with calculations and percentages.
• Ability to perform well under deadlines and manage priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• A curious and proactive attitude with asking the right questions.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and oral.
