Function

  • You are responsible for the operational follow-up of customer orders delivered by the customer service team
  • You will provide accurate and efficient back-office handling of air cargo shipments
  • You proactively monitor the progress of all pending files and shipments
  • You keep an overview of multiple processes simultaneously and set the right priorities
  • You correctly follow up customs formalities as part of the logistics process
  • You will work closely with the customer service team to ensure smooth communication
  • You will maintain daily contact with ground handlers, mainly via e-mail
  • You ensure correct and timely handling of all shipments

Profile

  • You have a first administrative work experience within the logistics sector, or a thorough knowledge of air import / freight forwarding
  • You have a good to very good command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus
  • You like to work independently and take responsibility for your files
  • You have a positive mindset and remain stress-resistant in a dynamic environment
  • You get energy from following up multiple tasks at once and working very accurately in the process
  • You have strong communication and administrative skills
  • You are fluent with current IT tools such as Microsoft Office and Outlook
