Night dispatcher

Function

For the night dispatcher job, you will be responsible for the following:

• You get the handover from the day shift;
• You follow up on trucks that need to leave the same evening;
• You maintain an overview at peak times in the evening;
• You ensure that all paperwork is in order correctly so that the trucks can leave on time;
• You will work Monday to Thursday from 18:00 to 2:30 and on Sundays from 18:00 to 24:30;
• On Sundays, you will take on permanency from 24:30 to 7:00.

Profile

For the job of night dispatcher, you recognise yourself in the following characteristics:

• You have some initial experience as a dispatcher;
• You can express yourself in Dutch, French and English to drivers;
• You communicate transparently to your person in charge;
• After 17h, you will be responsible for three logistics clerks, ensuring that all documents are put in order;
• You are motivated to obtain your C driving licence.

Organisation

Our client, based in Zulte, is a logistics company specialising in refrigerated transport. They provide transport of frozen and chilled food products for customers in the Benelux, northern France and the Paris region. Besides transport, the company has two branches with frozen storage, as well as storage facilities for dry, fresh and frozen products. They also offer various additional services, such as order picking and labelling.
