Multi-disciplinary Project Coordinator

Function

As Multi-disciplinary Project Coordinator You will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and monitoring of challenging projects relating to HVAC, plumbing and other technical installations in the region West and East Flanders. You act as the link between the site, engineering, planning and the budget, and ensure that every project is carried out smoothly and to a high standard.

In this role, you will combine a strong technical eye with a hands-on approach. You will work closely with site managers, technicians, draughtsmen, subcontractors and the construction team, whilst keeping a close eye on the schedule, quality and costs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Project preparation based on specifications, plans and technical requirements.
• Coordination and follow-up from the construction site, from preparation to handover.
• Budget monitoring and monitoring of claims, additional works and technical decisions.
• Managing teams and liaise with subcontractors and relevant partners.
• Formatting and checking implementation plans, diagrams and technical data sheets.
• Site meetings prepare and clearly communicate the status of the project.
• Quality and planning monitor, with a focus on safety, efficiency and results.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an experienced professional with a solid technical background and a clear affinity for multidisciplinary engineering. You will have several years’ experience in project coordination, project management or site supervision within HVAC, plumbing, electromechanics or a similar technical environment.

Ideally, your profile should look like this:

• You hold a qualification as industrial or civil engineer, preferably in a technical or engineering discipline such as Energy, Electromechanics or Mechanical Engineering.
• You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a relevant technical role.
• You have a solid grounding in HVAC, plumbing, electrical installations and general construction or installation techniques.
• You are well-organised and is able to manage several cases at once in a well-organised manner.
• You communicate fluently and professionally with colleagues, clients, engineering firms, subcontractors and site management.
• You are analytical, critical and problem-solving set.
• You take responsibility, work independently and find it energising to seek practical solutions.
• You are enterprising, keen to learn and driven to grow alongside a dynamic organisation.

Experience in drawing up technical specifications, monitoring budgets and coordinating operational teams is a definite asset.
