Logistics manager
Function
As Logistics Manager in Nieuwpoort You will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:
- Managing and organising the workshop, warehouse and logistics areas
- Co-ordinating the transport of materials, machinery and equipment to various construction sites
- Managing and optimising stock, material flows and logistics processes
- Take responsibility for the procurement, maintenance and inspection of equipment and work equipment
- Managing drivers, warehouse staff and technicians
- Working with internal stakeholders to continuously improve safety, quality and efficiency
- Further digitisation and optimisation of logistics processes via the ERP system
Profile
You’re a born organiser who knows how to motivate people and is keen to take on responsibility. So what does your profile as a logistics manager look like?
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience, preferably in a logistics-related field
- Experience in a managerial role within logistics, construction or a technical environment
- An interest in equipment management, warehouse operations and logistics planning
- A hands-on approach combined with strong analytical and organisational skills
- Experience with ERP systems and digital processes
- Good communication skills in Dutch; knowledge of French and English is a real asset
