Logistics Lead

Function

What will you do?

• Ensuring the timely, accurate and efficient handling of incoming, outgoing and stored goods
• Responsible for ensuring correct delivery to both internal and external customers
• Oversee all warehouse and logistics activities, such as planning, stock management, transport, storage and customs formalities
• Providing advice on optimisation, improvement processes and implementations
• Carrying out risk analyses for new projects and at the client’s request
• Managing, coaching and supervising the warehouse team
• Co-ordinating the management, disposal and sale of decommissioned machinery, utilities and MRO goods in collaboration with Engineering and Technical Services
• Managing contacts, contractual agreements and collaboration with external logistics service providers
• Initiating and coordinating warehouse projects in line with the set objectives
• Responsible for waste management within the warehouse
• Managing the Utilities and Technical Warehouse
• Preparing reports and monitoring processes within the warehouse

Profile

Who are you?

• You have excellent leadership skills
• You have good communication skills and know how to motivate people
• You think in terms of solutions and are good at organising
• You have a bachelor's level of education
• You speak Dutch and English
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems is an advantage
• Experience with cGMP and GDP guidelines is an advantage.
• You have 6 to 10 years’ relevant work experience, of which at least 3 to 5 years have been in a managerial role
