Logistics clerk
Function
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will fulfil a key role within our organisation. The tasks below are part of your package:
- You will be responsible for the full administrative follow-up of operational activities on site;
- This includes nominations, operational records, invoicing, complaint registration and follow-up, all managed through the terminal management system;
- Together with your team, you will organise and optimise the planning of ships, trains and trucks;
- You will be the first point of contact for our customers and maintain daily communication;
- You ensure the correct processing of (customs) documents in the appropriate registers;
- You will be responsible for daily reporting of terminal activities and inventory monitoring through the terminal management system;
- You provide timely and accurate data for customer invoicing, supporting the accounting department.
Profile
As a logistics clerk, you have the following qualities:
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
- You have at least 3 years' experience in an administrative position;
- You switch effortlessly between teamwork and working independently, depending on the situation;
- You communicate clearly, professionally and purposefully, both internally and with customers;
- You work in a structured and precise manner, with an eye for detail and quality;
- You are proactive, solution-oriented and results-oriented;
- You have strong planning and organisation skills and maintain an overview even during busy periods;
- You have a critical eye and actively think about process improvements;
- You have a hands-on mentality and show ownership in everything you do;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus;
- Experience in the logistics sector and knowledge of customs and import documents is a strong plus;
- Je staat op voor een dag ploegen stelsel in de toekomst toe te passen aan de hand van een rotatie schema week om week. Je zal opstarten 6u/8u/10u/12u;
