Lift Engineer – Repairs

Function

As Lift Engineer – Repairs In West Flanders, you will be responsible for repairing lifts in your region. You will work on a wide range of technical faults and ensure that the systems operate safely, reliably and smoothly once again.

In this role, you will combine your electrical and mechanical expertise with a customer-focused approach. You will be out and about every day and your duties will include, amongst other things:

• the detection and repair of electrical faults and mechanical faults
• working on various types of lifts, with the support of a high-quality on-the-job training programme
• the application of working methods and strict adherence to safety, quality and environmental regulations
• contributing ideas for solutions and ensuring that interventions are carried out correctly and to a high standard
• maintaining professional communication with customers and colleagues
• participation in the on-call duty in accordance with the team schedule, with the corresponding remuneration

You’ll be joining an experienced team where knowledge-sharing, collaboration and safety are key priorities. Thanks to a wide variety of clients and installations, your work will remain technically challenging and varied.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a motivated technician with a strong technical background and a keen interest in lifts. Experience in the sector is an advantage, but candidates with a relevant background and the right attitude will also be considered.

Your profile:

• You have a a bachelor’s degree or TSO diploma in electromechanics, or you can demonstrate equivalent experience
• You have a clear a passion for technology and always treats safety as an absolute priority
• You are solution-oriented and remains calm and level-headed when technical faults occur
• You enjoy working independent, but also works well as part of a team
• A first in-depth experience in the lift industry is an asset
• You are Dutch or keen to improve your Dutch
• You have a driving licence B
• You don’t have a fear of heights
• You are open to training and enjoys learning on the job
