Inside Sales – Air & Sea

Function

• Developing and managing your own client portfolio within the SME market.
• Actively seeking out and identifying new business opportunities.
• Increasing market share in air and sea freight.
• Maintaining contact with (potential) customers by telephone.
• Follow up on quotations and conduct negotiations to achieve commercial objectives.
• Working with clear sales targets and KPIs.

Profile

• Initial experience in freight forwarding, with knowledge of air freight and/or sea freight.
• A commercial mindset and strong powers of persuasion.
• Results-oriented, proactive and persistent.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• A basic knowledge of French.
• Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel; experience with a CRM system (such as Salesforce) is an advantage.
