Function

In this job as an Import Clerk, you will play a crucial role in keeping our import processes running smoothly.

Tasks:

• Follow-up of import shipments: preparation of customs documents, contact with control authorities and clearance of documents
• Request instructions and communicate with customers to correctly handle shipments
• Managing the shipment
• Adding customs charges and ensuring correct administration
• Communication with external parties, such as airlines and cargo handlers
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
• Liaise with customs authorities for flawless customs clearance
• Working accurately according to internal procedures and guidelines

Profile

For the position of Import Clerk, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• Experience within customs materiel, air cargo or a strong desire to learn this quickly
• Good command of English and Dutch, French is a plus
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• In stressful situations, you maintain an overview and work as accurately as ever
• In a small team, you will work collegially and closely together, but you can also manage your business independently

- A market-based salary in PC226 between € 2850 - € 3500 gross (depending on experience)

- 20 leave days + 6 ADV days (+ 3 additional sector days)

- Sliding working hours between 8h-10h start

- In case of permanent employment, affiliation to group insurance and hospitalisation insurance
