Head Project Manager HVAC

Function

As Project Manager HVAC, you bear ultimate responsibility for the execution and follow-up of the HVAC projects:

• Together with the project leaders, you monitor safety, quality, planning and profitability of the projects.
• You form the operational link between the technical management, project leaders and staff on the construction sites.
• You coach and support the project leaders and help them to set priorities and manage projects independently.
• You closely monitor planning, capacity, budgets, margins, post-calculation and additional works.
• You make adjustments where necessary and identify opportunities to structurally improve processes and collaboration.
• In the case of complex technical or organisational issues, you provide clarity and direction and align with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• You co-determine the priorities across the various projects and ensure an efficient deployment of people and resources.
• You report directly to the technical management and are given the space to further professionalise the project organisation.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional who can combine technical knowledge with people management and financial insight:

• You have substantial experience as a Project Manager HVAC, project leader or technical responsible within HVAC or technical installations.
• You have a thorough technical knowledge of heating, sanitary and air conditioning.
• You have an understanding of budgets, margins, post-calculation, additional works and profitability.
• You have experience in guiding, coaching and managing employees.
• You communicate clearly, make expectations concrete and are not afraid to have difficult conversations.
• You are calm, decisive and organisationally strong, and maintain an overview when multiple projects are running simultaneously.

Our client operates from the Buggenhout, Sint-Niklaas and Hamme regions and forms part of a multi-technical service provider. Although they operate independently, they can call upon the services and know-how of the parent company for specific support and expertise. The organisation specialises in heating, sanitation and air conditioning (HVAC) and operates as an installer and service partner within the industrial, public and private markets.
