Experienced Project Manager HVAC

Function

As an Experienced HVAC Project Leader, you take full ownership of the follow-up of multiple projects:

• You are responsible for projects from handover after sale through to completion.
• You translate client expectations and technical requirements into a clear approach with attention to scope, timing, budget and quality.
• You manage the technical elaboration and execution, and monitor planning, progress, performance and technical solutions.
• You provide direction to site managers, team leaders, operational staff and subcontractors.
• Within the agreed frameworks, you have the freedom to select technical solutions, suppliers and partners.
• You maintain an overview of multiple projects whilst keeping in touch with the practical reality on site.
• You identify risks, changes and delays in a timely manner and make adjustments where necessary.
• You share your knowledge with fellow project leaders and support employees who wish to grow further into a coordinating role.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced technical professional who can manage projects independently whilst also excelling in communication and collaboration:

• You have approximately 3 to 5 years of experience as a project leader, project manager or in a comparable technical coordinating role.
• Experience in HVAC, heating, sanitary or air conditioning is a strong asset.
• You have a technical qualification at engineering level or possess equivalent practical experience and technical knowledge.
• You are familiar with budget monitoring, planning and quality follow-up of projects.
• You work in an organised and numerical manner, yet are also pragmatic and solution-oriented when the situation on site demands it.
• You take responsibility and communicate openly, clearly and respectfully with clients, colleagues and partners.

Organisation

Our client operates from the Buggenhout, Sint-Niklaas and Hamme regions and forms part of a multi-technical service provider. Although they operate independently, they can call upon the services and know-how of the parent company for specific support and expertise. The organisation specialises in heating, sanitation and air conditioning (HVAC) and operates as an installer and service partner within the industrial, public and private markets.
