Head of Mouldmaking

Function

As Head of Mouldmaking, you will be the technical ace talking point and coach the team of toolmakers.

Below is a sample of your duties:

• On the floor, you will be close to your team and monitor maintenance, repair and production of moulds.
• You will help investigate technical problems, provide solutions and make decisions.
• You are also responsible for coordinating projects and know how to bring them to a successful conclusion.
• Furthermore, you will assist our project department technically. You act as the (technical) right hand of the Operations Manager and work closely with the tooling department, production, engineering, as well as the maintenance department.
• You will report to the Technical Director.
• You divide your time between the shop floor and your desk.

Profile

As Head of Mould Making, you will have a broad technical background and experience in mould making. In addition, you can also largely tick off the items below:

• Training in industrial engineering or equivalent through experience.
• Proficient in technical analysis.
• Solution-oriented thinking.
• Good communication skills and able to get a team along.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, electricity and automation.
• You are decisive and dare to take decisions.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and knowledge of English.
