Air & Road Freight Forwarder

Function

• Organisation and tracking of air freight consignments and road transport (import & export) --> including emergencies and customs
• Maintain customer contact and handle transport requests
• Contributing to tenders and tender documents
• Administrative processing of files - from documentation to invoicing
• Working with international agents and subcontractors
• Gaining basic knowledge of customs formalities and logistics regulations
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and contributing to quality improvement
• Keeping data up-to-date in internal systems such as spreadsheets and BMS

Profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in logistics, or have equivalent experience.
• You speak Fluent in Dutch and English.
• You work accurate, you are keen to learn and customer-focused.
• You feel good in a a team-oriented and international working environment.
• You are willing to undertake a combination of runway operations, air traffic control and emergencies, plus customs.
• You are willing to work the late shift (12.30 pm – 9.00 pm) and as part of a rota that also includes shifts from 10.30 am to 7.00 pm.
