Experienced Financial Controller

Function

As financial controller, you are responsible for the local Business Unit, maintaining constant contact with both management and project managers.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

• Analytical and accounting control of the Business Unit and analysis of the financial results.
• Preparing and monitoring monthly financial reports.
• Financial assessment and monitoring of a diverse range of projects and contracts.
• Identifying financial risks in a timely manner and carrying out analyses.
• Proposing optimisations and measures to improve margins.
• Responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets and re-forecasts.
• Checking the correct completion of commercial reports and acting as the point of contact for external financial audits.

Profile

This role requires a certain level of experience and prior knowledge. You will recognise yourself in the following profile:

• You hold a (Master's) degree in a financial field, or you have built up equivalent experience in practice.
• You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a business and/or financial controller.
• You are familiar with an international environment and are not afraid to speak your mind.
• You speak fluent Dutch; a good knowledge of French is an advantage.
• Experience with framework agreements and project-based working is a strong asset.
• In addition to your fixed workplace in Zwijndrecht, you are open to travelling to the head office in Brussels on a regular basis.
