Dispatcher

Function

As a Dispatcher for our Antwerp location, you will be the hub of our daily transport process. In this operational role, you work closely with drivers, planners and other colleagues to ensure that the daily planning is carried out efficiently. With your keen insight and decisiveness, you will ensure flawless execution even when unexpected challenges arise.

What will you do?

• Daily monitoring of a team of around 20 drivers (internal and external).
• In case of deviations such as delays, breakdowns or unexpected situations, you take quick and well-considered decisions to adjust the transport planning.
• You will be at the centre of communication, both directly with drivers and with other internal departments, making sure everyone is up to speed.
• Processing changes on time and coordinating with customers when necessary.

Profile

Who are we looking for for this role?

• Minimum 5-10 years' experience, in dispatching, transport coordination or similar operational role.
• You are stress-resistant and maintain an overview where you know how to prioritise correctly.
• Strong and direct communication skills, both oral and written.
• A proactive working attitude where you do not wait, but take initiative and responsibility.
• Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of French and English for internal communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (between 7:00 and 18:00)
